About IBPS Clerk
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a common written exam (CWE) every year for the recruitment of clerical cadre in various banks all across the country. All public sector banks will use the written exam - IBPS Clerk 2022 Exam to recruit candidates for the number of vacancies that are released in the official notification.IBPS Clerk CWE exam will be conducted on two levels- preliminary and mains. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main Examination for which there is a penalty of ¼ or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the particular question.
Approximate salary of bank clerk is 18,000 - 20,000. And other allowances as may be admissible under the rules in force from time to time in the company. The emoluments of a bank clerk may vary from bank to bank but after becoming a clerk there are more opportunities ahead to give internal exams and get promoted to officer grade in a stipulated period of time.
Educational Qualifications:A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
